Camouflage
My younger sister, (pictured here) is the only thing I would persistently ask for between the ages of 4 and 8. Really, all I wanted was a real life doll. (Not knowing that she would actually bring so much more than that to my life). When she was old enough to participate in activities [willingly], (but still young enough to not really have a say in the matter) me and my childhood best friend would dress her up in shawls and fake pearls, do a horrible make-up job on her beautiful young face, and just take film rolls of photos. (We have a brother who was born between us, he's lucky she came right after, otherwise I most likely would have dressed him up and taken pictures of him back then...)
She means so much more to me now, obviously, but that purpose still stands I think. She is the one person in the world I can drag to different places and ask her make faces (sometimes I have to make her) at my lens until my artistic itch is satisfied. So thanks mama and baba for one of the most perfect, most beautiful (inside and outside), most loving a gift you could have given me. I love her.
